When we ask for help or for an answer to a question, our loved ones, guides, or the higher being above, can present the information in many different ways. The answer could be a number that’s being shown to you multiple times, or a new person you meet, or a piece of paper with a note on it lying on the ground in front of you. They can answer through dreams as well.
Sometimes you’ll get your answer through a song that repeats multiple times in your head or on the radio. You might find this extremely annoying, yet the message is there in the lyrics. So if you don’t know the lyrics, look them up! It could be the info you’ve been waiting for.
So many people expect to receive answers from above that will smack them in the face! But it doesn’t always work like that. Sometimes it’s extremely subtle and people miss it because they’re so caught up in their emotions, pain, or panic that they don’t realize the answers are being shown to them.
What you need to remember is that when someone you love passes away, they are not really gone. Just as we here on earth are energy, spirit—those on the other side—are energy, too. And we can experience their energy whenever they are moved to show themselves to us.
Sometimes you might dream about them or hear their voice, or even smell them. I know this sounds weird but you can smell a scent or cologne they might have worn or smell the fragrance of a flower that reminds you of them.
My grandfather had a lilac bush. From time to time, I’ll smell a lilac bush, and think of my grandfather. I’ll know that he is around me and saying hello to me. I can smell that bush even when there are no bushes around. Or maybe I might get a bouquet, and the florist happened to put a piece of lilac in the arrangement. These are all signs that my grandfather is there supporting me in my endeavors.
Sometimes loved ones will leave us little presents. My father leaves me nickels to show me he is around. Coins seem to be a popular choice for spirit to leave for loved ones. A penny, dime, or quarter found out of the blue on the ground or in the strangest places could mean your loved one is visiting.
Sometimes people feel the presence of their loved ones either in the room with them or in the seat next to them. Have you ever felt someone standing behind you and no one is there? Besides just feeling a presence, you might also feel them touch you.
