The Ox and Bull share such similar characteristics as a Spirit Animal, that they are often described interchangeably. Mythology and folklore bear out that both represent the male gender, and also leadership, power, renewal and the production of an abundance of offspring, as well as new ideas.
As one of the first creatures that humans domesticated, the Ox took on agrarian chores. In addition to his strong back, he can also be a strong role model, though can be a bit “bull-headed” at times.
