No doubt, when you read that headline, the first thing that came to mind was the Edgar Allan Poe poem you most likely read in school.

Ask anyone who has read this famous piece, and he or she will say that this ominous bird symbolizes death. Ask an academic and you might hear a connection to the Kenneth Silverman biography, “Edgar A Poe: Mournful and Never-ending Remembrance.”

But in reality, the Raven as a Power Animal represents cleansing and a spiritual rebirth! Other meanings include: viewing things from a new perspective, and delving into the true depths of who you really are. It’s a difficult process, but Raven will help you through it, bringing lasting healing to mind, body and soul.

As a Spirit Animal, the theme carries through. Most likely, something is about to transform your life, whether positive or negative.
